The event coordinators at the Joseph Ambler Inn combine a commitment to service with years of experience and will expertly handle every detail of your special day. We partner with many local wedding vendors and can help you choose the perfect officiant, florist, bakery, DJ/band and photographer.
Getting Ready
The Joseph Ambler Inn is happy to offer several unique lounges where your wedding party can prepare for the big moment in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.
Fireside Ceremony
A lovely choice for small, intimate weddings, these ceremonies are performed in front of a fireplace in either the Farmhouse or the John Roberts house. Perfect for up to 40 guests.
Outdoor Ceremony
Choose a scenic section of our expansive lawn for your ceremony or opt for the Pavilion, which has a canopy top.
Receptions
Bonnymeade/Wheelwright Banquet Rooms (Ballroom)
These elegant banquet rooms can be used separately or together to accommodate up to 200 guests.
Farmhouse Weddings
The charming rooms on the first floor of the Farmhouse create an inviting space for intimate cocktail receptions and dinners. The Farmhouse can accommodate 18 guests for a sit-down event, and up to 100 for a cocktail reception. There is no dance floor. We do allow background music in this building.
Fieldstone Room
Housed in the 1820 Stone Bank Barn and complemented by exposed stone walls and random-width hardwood floors, our Fieldstone Room is a great option for luncheons, showers and daytime receptions for up to 100 guests.
John Roberts House
The intimate fireside dining room can accommodate up to 38 guests for a sit-down event or 75 for a cocktail reception. There is no dance floor. We do allow background music in this building.
Due to Liability Issues, The Joseph Ambler Inn does NOT allow guests to provide their own alcohol or wine.

For those couples wishing to honor their unique heritage, we can help you create a most memorable day by incorporating elements of your cultural traditions and customs into your festivities. We offer numerous menu options including Indian, Korean, and Spanish inspired cuisine. Our chefs are always happy to recreate a favorite family recipe, too!
